The series is an empirical dialogue about the duality of those with physical difference and apparent disability, such as vitiligo and albinism, examined through a series of diptychs. Each pair illustrates how one ‘fits in’ by hiding their physical difference against their natural self. Juxtaposing the physical-socially constructed self and the uncovered body doesn’t aim to impose a judgment but rather share a personal truth that each model has had to live with.

The use of platinum-palladium offers a familiar aesthetics of the traditional image, aiding in recontextualizating of preconceived notions of the body that were created through those very modes.
